How to use this guide
We have written this guidance to help you plan your journey
to UEA from the UKs major transport hubs, and stations in
Norwich.
UEA may run a coach service during certain arrival periods,
please look out for emails concerning this.
For links to booking webpages, please click the train/bus/taxi
icons on each page.
Remember if booking transport in advance, to leave plenty of
time for you to land, clear security and passport control. It is
recommended you purchase a flexible/anytime ticket in case
of unforeseen delays.

Take the Heathrow Express to
London Paddington - Heathrow
Express trains stop at terminals 2, 3
and 5. If arriving at Terminal 4, take
the free transfer train to Terminals 2
and 3 (15 minutes)
From London Paddington, take the
Elizabeth Line to London Stratford
From London Stratford, you can
take the train directly to Norwich.

LONDON - HEATHROW AIRPORT

It takes two minutes to walk to the
train station from the terminal, with
lifts, escalators and ramps
connecting the two
There is a direct train, or you may
have to change, please check when
booking

The bus/coach station is just a two
minute walk from the aiport
terminal.

LONDON - STANSTED AIRPORT

To: Norwich Train Station (NRW)

The railway station is located at the
South terminal, a short walk from
Departures and Arrivals. The station
is easily accessible from the North
terminal by a free shuttle
Please be aware you will have to
change during the journey as there
isn't a direct train - please check
when booking your train.

Gatwick North Terminal - Coaches
depart from the lower level, outside
International Arrivals at Gatwick's
North Terminal.
The ticket office is inside the
terminal at International Arrivals. If
you find you need to get to the
South Terminal, simply hop on the
transit train from the upper level.
Gatwick South Terminal - the
National Express coach departs from
the lower forecourt at stops one to
five. Ticket offices are in Arrivals and
the lower forecourt area.
Please be aware you will have to
change during the journey as there
isn't a direct bus - please check when
booking your bus.

LONDON - GATWICK AIRPORT

To: Norwich Train Station (NRW)
From: Gatwick Airport London North OR
South (LGW)

Take a shuttle bus from the airport
terminal to Luton Airport Parkway
train station which takes around 10
minutes.
Select Luton Airport (LUA) as your
departure station to get your
Shuttle Bus transfer fare included.
If your ticket is from Luton Airport
Parkway (LTN), you can pay the
Shuttle Bus fare separately.
From Luton Airport Parkway take
the train to Farringdon, then to
London Liverpool Street, where you
can take a direct train to Norwich.

The coach bus bays are right outside
the terminal building, close to the
Arrivals exit.
You will have to change at London
Victoria Coach Station.

LONDON - KINGS CROSS ST PANCRAS
Train
From Kings Cross St Pancras Underground
Station take the Hammersmith & City Line
or the Circle Line or the Metropolitan Line
(Eastbound, Platform 2) all of which are
direct services to Liverpool Street
Underground Station.
From Liverpool Street Station you can take a
direct train to Norwich.

ARRIVING IN NORWICH
Take the 501 Park and Ride service to Castle Meadow
(Stop CW)
Change to the 26A/26/25 from Stop BM which will take
you straight to campus. You can buy your tickets with cash
or card on the bus.
NORWICH AIRPORT

There is a taxi stand at the airport or you can pre-book
with ABC Taxis. You can pay with cash or card.
NORWICH TRAIN STATION

Take the 26A/26/25 from the Railway Station (Stop
DE) directly to campus. You can buy your tickets with
cash or card on the bus.
There is a taxi rank directly outside the train station to the
right, or you can pre-book with ABC Taxis. You can pay with
cash or card.
NORWICH BUS STATION
Bus
Exit the bottom of the bus station left onto Surrey Street.
Take a right on St Stephen's Street to Red Lion Street
(Stop BM)
Take the 26A/26/25 from Stop BM which will take you
straight to campus. You can pay with cash or card.
