NAC 645 Regulation Changes
Tiffany Banks, Nevada REALTORS® General Counsel
February 16, 2021
The long-awaited Real Estate Division’s guidance on continuing education credits is
here. As you are all probably aware, there were many changes this last legislative session
to NRS 645.
As a result, the commission adopted regulations on certain areas of the law. Those
regulations on pre-licensing, continuing education requirements, limited continuing
exemptions, property management permit continuing education requirements and license
number, advertising and use of nicknames are all addressed in the new regulations. Last
week, the Division issued an information bulletin with a summary of the newly adopted
regulations as well as some of the most frequently asked questions that go along with it.
You can find it here*.
